Lollygem is a mobile business education and gamification application operated from Calgary, Alberta, Canada. For all privacy-related inquiries contact us at:

2. Age Requirement

Lollygem is intended for users aged 16 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has used the App, please contact privacy@lollygem.com and we will delete their data promptly.

3. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Account details: display name, email address, and password
• Profile preferences: mood, savings goal, and entrepreneur archetype
• Business identity: business name and industry selected during onboarding

Information collected automatically:

• Gameplay data: games played, XP, streaks, and levels completed
• Device information: device type, operating system, app version, and timezone
• Usage data: session frequency and in-app behaviour
• Push notification token (only with your permission)

Information from third parties:

• Firebase (Google): authentication and cloud data storage
• RevenueCat: subscription and payment processing

4. How We Use Your Information

• Create and manage your account
• Deliver personalised gameplay and content
• Track your progress, XP, streaks, and business stats
• Send push notifications about streaks and daily challenges
• Process subscription payments
• Improve the App through anonymised analytics
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not show advertising. We share data only with the service providers below, each processing on our behalf under contract:

• Firebase / Google (United States): authentication and cloud storage
• RevenueCat (United States): subscription status and entitlement
• Google Play Billing: payment processing. We never see your card details.
• Sentry (European Union, Frankfurt): crash reports and diagnostics. Your email, name and IP address are removed before sending; only an anonymous account identifier is included.
• PostHog (European Union, Frankfurt): product analytics. Receives an anonymous account identifier and which features you use, never your name, email or the financial figures you enter.
• Law enforcement: only when required by law

All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data.

6. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored on Firebase servers operated by Google LLC, located in the United States. Crash reports and analytics are processed in the European Union. By using the App you consent to these transfers outside Canada. Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act requires us to tell you when your information is handled outside the province. We are working to move account data to Canadian servers; this policy will be updated when that happens. The App never connects to your bank, never asks for banking credentials, and never has access to your real accounts or transactions. Any financial figures you enter are self-reported practice numbers. We implement reasonable security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS/SSL) and authentication-gated data access. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA, you have the right to:

• Access: request a copy of your personal information
• Correction: request inaccurate data be corrected
• Deletion: request your data be deleted
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw consent for data use
• Complaint: file a complaint at priv.gc.ca

9. Push Notifications

We send push notifications about streak status, daily challenges, and updates. You can disable notifications at any time through your device settings.

10. Children's Privacy

Lollygem is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16. Contact privacy@lollygem.com if you believe a child has provided us with data.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
